Abstract

This study aims to determine face-to-face learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at SD Muhammadiyah PK Simo, especially in terms of readiness, constraints and solutions provided in carrying out the face-to-face learning process. This research is a qualitative research with the research subject of the principal of SD Muhammadiyah PK Simo. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The results of this study are that in the implementation of face-to-face learning at SD Muhammadiyah PK Simo, several preparations and programs have been carried out for the smooth running of face-to-face learning in schools. However, in the implementation process there are advantages and disadvantages. The advantages of the face-to-face learning process are that students are more enthusiastic in the learning process, in providing more comprehensive material, students are more focused on the ongoing learning process. Meanwhile, the drawbacks are the limited number of students entering, students often take off their masks during the learning process, students who are active in playing often disturb other students during the learning process. For this reason, the solution provided by the school is to try to maintain student order in terms of health protocols, provide rules for students to keep their distance and provide time limits for students' rest.
