Abstract

This study aims to apply the value of local wisdom in the thematic learning of social interaction in one of the public elementary schools in Kab. Semarang. The method used in this research is descriptive method. This research was conducted on teachers and students. The technique used in this research is observation and interview. The instrument of data analysis was carried out by (1) data reduction (2) data presentation (3) conclusion drawing/verification. The assessment technique is to check the validity of the data using triangulation. The triangulation used is source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of this study are 1) Application of local wisdom values ​​of salaman in social interaction activities at school. 2) Social interaction thematic learning as an effort to change old habits with new habits in accordance with health protocols by applying 5M. 3) Changes in the habituation of social interaction at school from the habit of shaking hands to habituation of both hands on the chest.
