PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA KELAS IV MI DARUL HIJRAH MADANI KOTA KUPANG TAHUN 2020/2021

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in science learning on Animal Life Cycle material for class IV SDN Ponas for the 2020/2021 academic year. through the application of a picture and picture cooperative learning model. This research is a classroom action research. The research was conducted at Ponas State Elementary School from May to July 2021. The research subjects were fourth grade students of Ponas State Elementary School for the 2020/2021 academic year which consisted of 22 students. Data collection techniques were carried out by learning outcomes tests, and student observation sheets using a picture and picture cooperative learning model, learning tools and teaching materials in the form of syllabus, lesson plans, and worksheets. The results of this study indicate that the tools, instruments, and teaching materials meet the criteria of validity and are suitable for use with an average validation value of 4 which is declared very valid. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain increased by an average of 75 in cycle 1 to 6.37 in cycle 2. While the percentage of students achieving KKM scores increased from 63.64% to 90.91%. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle were 40% and 70% and in the second cycle there was an increase of 85% and 15%. The data obtained shows that the indicators to be achieved have met the target, namely 75 for an average value of 80% for KKM completeness. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the Picture and Picture type cooperative learning model can improve students' science learning outcomes on the Animal Life Cycle material for Class IV SD Negeri Ponas.
