IMPLEMENTASI MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK TALK WRITE (TTW) DALAM MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK KELAS IV MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MATERI DATA DAN PENGUKURAN DI SD INPRES TENAU KOTA KUPANG

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out the extent to which the critical thinking skills of fourth grade students in the mathematics subject of data and measurement at the Inpres Tenau Elementary School were improved with the Think Talk Write (TTW) type cooperative learning model for the 2020/2021 school year. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR) 4 stages, namely, planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed that the improvement in critical thinking skills of fourth grade students of SD Inpres Tenau after the implementation of the Think Talk Write (TTW) type cooperative model, it was seen that the test scores of students in cycle 2 reached 100% completeness with an average of 85 compared to cycle I, which was 60%. with an average of 67. In the results of teacher observations in the first cycle it reached 68.57% with a sufficient predicate and in the second cycle it increased to 80% with a good predicate. The results of the observation of student activities in the first cycle were 40% with less predicate and 60% with sufficient predicate increased to 10% with less predicate and 90% with very good predicate in the second cycle. Based on the data above it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write (TTW) in mathematics subjects with data and measurement materials can improve the critical thinking skills of fourth grade students at SD Inpres Tenau for the 2020/2021 academic year.
