PENANAMAN NILAI KARAKTER MELALUI TEMBANG DOLANAN UNTUK ANAK BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS DI SEKOLAH DASAR REGULER

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of character education for children with special needs in regular elementary schools. This study used a qualitative approach while data collection was carried out by means of interviews and or observation, documentation, and analysis of research data. Researchers used structured interviews. The data that has been collected is analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. Validity and reliability tests were used to test the validity of the data in the study. From the results of the study, it can be seen that the inculcation of character values ​​through the song dolanan for children with special needs and normal children in general at SDN 02 Alastuwo shows five character values, namely religious, nationalist, independent, integrity, and mutual cooperation which are integrated into learning. So it can be concluded that regular elementary schools can implement inclusive character education for children with special needs by coordinating the various characteristics of students that provide opportunities for normal children and children with special needs to study together in one room according to their respective grade levels.
