PEMBERDAYAAN PEMICU MOTIVASI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PADA SISWA MA AL-FALAH KECAMATAN SIMPANG TIGA KABUPATEN PIDIE

Abstract

Researchers related to empowering motivation triggers in learning in MA Al-Falah students in Simpang Tiga District, Pidie Regency used a qualitative approach, data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Based on this research, it was found that Al-Falah MA students in Simpang Tiga District have intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Intrinsic motivation that is owned is an interest that grows within themselves. Extrinsic motivation is the acquisition of values ​​given to students through assignment assessments, daily tests, and semester tests, with these values ​​being a trigger to be able to compete with other students, and there are remedies or grade improvements that are avoided for students to follow. Efforts made by schools to increase student learning motivation include giving objective numbers on daily assignments, daily tests, or semester general tests, giving prizes to students who win inter-class competitions and class champions, the teacher gives praise to students who can answer questions given during lessons or when getting satisfactory grades after tests or assignments, giving daily tests to find out how well students understand the subject given and as teacher evaluation, giving punishment in the form of giving additional assignments, providing input to students whose achievements are still lacking standards, and provide assistance to students who need to be given additional intensive lessons.
